WELCOME ROXIE

On Friday May 7, 2010 we put Roxie down. About 3 weeks ago she was playing and jumped off the deck and tore her ACL. The ligament that holds the knee in place. The surgery to fix it would have cost $2,500 to $3,000 and we just couldn't see paying out that kind of money for a maybe-maybe it will fix it and maybe it wouldn't. Her quality of life was forever changed. While the vet said she wasn't in any pain, we begged to differ. It was the hardest decision we've ever had to make in her life, but we also knew it was in her best interest. So our girl has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She was exactly one month away from being 4-that was the hardest pill to swallow if you know what I mean.

Here's Roxie just after Christmas 2006! Her markings are just incredible! What an absolutely gorgeous Rottie girl! She's perfect.	This is DuWayne's favorite picture of his girl. Yes, she's HIS girl! They say Rottie's pick one person in the family to latch on to and while she no doubt loves her Daddy, she is definetely MAMA's girl!!!
Rottweilers need to have a job to make them feel wanted and needed. What a great job for our girl-Carting!!!	Roxie is so COOOOL with JD and Michaela!
